title: TradeLock Verification Data Use description: How TradeLock uses submitted strategy intent and how managers control public visibility and HUB consideration. updated_at: 2026-08-23 version: 1.0
TradeLock Verification Data Use
TradeLock is free verification-layer infrastructure for investment strategy records. It records strategy intent as it is submitted, preserves a tamper-evident history, and produces evidence that a manager can inspect or publish.
Signal-use promise
Trades, target portfolios, rebalances, and other strategy signals submitted to TradeLock are used solely to verify and preserve strategy intent inside TradeLock.
TradeLock does not reuse or share submitted signals outside TradeLock without the manager's explicit approval. Creating an account, creating a strategy, or making a strategy public does not by itself grant that approval.
Managers control whether a strategy remains private, becomes public, or is considered for the TradeLock HUB. Public visibility makes the selected TradeLock record inspectable; it does not transfer ownership of the strategy or authorize unrelated use.
TradeLock HUB inclusion
The HUB is a curated discovery directory, not a marketplace. A strategy may be considered when it:
- is public, active, and not a sandbox or imported-history-only record;
- has sufficient genuinely forward-tracked history and activity;
- has reliable verification coverage and current snapshots;
- has no unresolved integrity failures;
- clearly describes the strategy, instruments, limitations, and recent-trade visibility;
- is explicitly opted in by its manager; and
- remains suitable after TradeLock review.
Inclusion cannot be purchased. Meeting baseline criteria does not guarantee inclusion, constitute investment advice, endorse the strategy, or predict future performance. A strategy may be paused or removed when its record becomes stale, incomplete, private, archived, or otherwise ineligible.
What TradeLock verification does not prove
TradeLock verifies the integrity and timing of the record it receives. It does not prove brokerage execution, account ownership, deployed capital, real fills, market impact, or future profitability.
